Together, we are seeking to increase the positive impact that local church communities make to others. That means caring for children, families and young people; looking out for those in greatest need; and helping individuals explore and develop their gifts

Growing Together
This project is all about growth. The desire for growth comes from our love for Ipswich and our belief that every neighbourhood, individual, and community in Ipswich matters to God. We must grow our impact in the town to realise our shared vision for Ipswich.
This project is part of the wider Church of England in Suffolk's vision to...

Growing Younger
Through schools work, Messy Church and youth groups we are aiming to make young people and young families a priority.
What we're doing:
-
Developing existing relationships with local schools and building partnerships in secondary schools with CYM
-
Building teams of people who want to come alongside young people, and create spaces where young people can explore faith in safe and low-pressure environments
-
Sharing resources and learning like Messy Church, to help churches engage with young families
-
Running Youth Alpha Courses
-
Talking about and praying for young people regularly!
Useful Resources

Growing in Influence
Churches play an essential role in caring for our communities through food services; partnerships with local agencies and organisations; seeing families through significant life events like weddings and funerals; supporting vulnerable individuals; community groups and much more.
What we're doing:
-
Churches are focusing their local impact to make the biggest difference - going DEEPER with those they currently have contact with
-
Churches are partnering with organisations like Basic Life to provide affordable food packages for those struggling in the aftermath of the pandemic
-
Church are LISTENING to what's going on in their context and their local community, and learning how best to respond to their specific neighbourhoods
-
We are all exploring how we can bridge the gap so that those we make contact with in the local community also are able to take steps towards exploring faith and getting stuck in in the life of the church
-
We are sharing good news of the impact that individuals and communities are making so that more people are aware of what their local church is up to

Growing in Depth
When individuals get inspired and discover a fresh sense of purpose, a new passion or a desire to share good news with more people, we see amazing things happen! That's why we make it a priority to give individuals opportunities to develop and explore their own gifts and discover what God might want to do through them for the sake of others. There are all sorts of different things you could explore through the project...
