“This project exists that all of Ipswich may be inspired through local Anglican church communities, to live lives full of faith, hope and love.”

Together, we are seeking to increase the positive impact that local church communities make to others. That means caring for children, families and young people; looking out for those in greatest need; and helping individuals explore and develop their gifts

Communicating good news
and making disciples
We’re now two-thirds of the way through our seven-year project. Some days it feels like we’ve been going forever and sometimes that we started yesterday. If we look back to our original goals, we have a lot to give thanks for. We are way behind on one, in excess of two and in sight of the most important one which is this: We are aiming to help 1500 new people follow Jesus and worship with us once a month and we are now at somewhere between 910 and 1000, well on the way, with 2 ½ years still to go.
Over the last four years many new clergy have come to join us in the deanery of Ipswich and thanks also to the clergy who were here before, there is a fresh focus on mission and evangelism, prayer and a new joy which has come from that. As a result many of our churches are growing, we now have 35 new worshipping communities, there is a new culture of making disciple-making disciples and many are coming to faith through Alpha, Messy church and our new congregations.
If you’d like to know more or get involved do get in touch. We’d love to hear from you.
